Base Layer Guide

MLK Guide Time 👏

Brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of our favourite things!

Our Slumber Sacks are made for ideal nursery room temperatures of 20-22 degrees. We recommend adjusting your base layers according to the changing seasons. Babies, and even toddlers, have a hard time regulating heat, which is why we recommend using a base layer in the first place. Thicker or a super heavy sleep sack does not always mean warmer because they can still lose heat in air pockets in fabric. When you put your Littles in really good base layers and then their slumber sack over top, they have a better chance of keeping in the heat yet they are not at risk of overheating.

For cooler climates we recommend:

1. The best (and cutest prints) in Bamboo pajamas @bambiandbirdie

2. The sweetest and warmest in Merino Wool pajamas @simply_merino

3. The kindest (a gift that gives back) heirloom quality snuggle buddy @cuddleandkind

4. The most fashionable cozy cabin socks @vonbonapparel
